Does ELS PET Litter Box have a weight limit?
- No, ELS PET Litter Box does not have a weight limit. With entryway dimensions of 9"H x 10"W and interior globe dimensions of 16"-18"H (depending on litter level) x 20"W x 18"D, 60 L Spheric Space, almost any domestic cat can fit comfortably inside the globe.
Can kittens use ELS PET Litter Box?
- Yes. ELS PET Litter Box uses laser and Infrared sensor technology to detect when your cat enters and exits the globe, which triggers the countdown timer and cleaning cycle. So it has almost no weight limit for cats. Due to the small size of kittens born within one month, it may occasionally cause the infrared sensor to fail to detect kittens born within one month.Therefore, kittens that born within one month or weigh less than 2.3 lbs can use ELS PET Litter Box, but not in automatic mode. Until they weigh enough or born over 1 month old, we recommend using your ELS PET Litter Box in Manual cleanup mode to keep your kitten safe and relieve you from litter box scooping. For Manual cleanup mode, we recommend that you leave ELS PET Litter Box powered off or unplugged to save electricity bills. When you see your kitten has used it, wait about 10 minutes for the waste to clump, then power it on. ELS PET Litter Box will automatically perform a clean cycle. Afterward, power it off again. Continue this supervised, semi-automatic mode until your kittens have gained sufficient weight to activate the Infrared sensor.
Does ELS PET Litter Box require special litter?
- No, ELS PET Litter Box does not require special litter. There is no limit to the brand. ELS PET Litter Box works well with almost any clumping or scoopable litter. Litter beads and crystals that are small enough to pass through the screen will also work. ELS PET Litter Box is not compatible with litters that are non-clumping, loose-clumping, newspaper-based, mud sand, or wood-based pellets. We most recommend the use of mixed cat litter or bentonite litter.
Will my cat actually use ELS PET Litter Box?
- Most likely. Many cats use ELS PET Litter Box within several days to a week of setting it up. Those already familiar with a covered litter box may be quicker to investigate ELS PET Litter Box. The trick is to ease your cat into transitioning to ELS PET Litter Box. You can avoid startling your kitty by leaving ELS PET Litter Box switched off until you notice your cat has used it. We recommend that you place ELS PET Litter Box in the same location as the old litter box. You can leave the old litter box near ELS PET Litter Box for a short time. You can buy with confidence knowing that you have 30 days to try the ELS PET Litter Boxes in your home. If you want to return, read our return policy and follow the return procedure below.
To return ELS PET Litter Boxes, you should first reach us at help@elspet.com.
Within 30 days, if you request a return due to machine failure, we will unconditionally allow the return and refund. You only have to pay return shipping.
Return Policy
1. You need to contact us via email first to let us know in advance that you want to return the product. If you return or reject the item without notifying us, we unfortunately will not allow a refund.
2. Please make sure your ELS PET bin is clean and packed carefully to avoid any damage during transportation. Packaging using virgin materials is your best and most environmentally friendly option. Once we receive the product and verify its condition, we will issue your refund within 7-10 business days.
3. If you return a used ELS PET litter box that is dirty and smelly on the inside, we will charge a cleaning fee of $80 per machine and a restocking fee of $60 per machine. A total of $140 per machine will be deducted from the original price.
4. If you return the product to our warehouse intact, a full refund will be given to you within 3-5 working days after it is verified that there are no quality problems with the product.Return Process
1. Please Send an Email to help@elspet.com titled with Return + Your Order Number. Please specify the reason of your return.
2. We will send you a return address. Please carefully package our product in original condition and provide us the tracking number.
4. Once the package got returned to our warehouse in US, we will check the condition of the product and restock the item.
5. Once all the above steps completes, we will start the refund process.
6. You will receive your refund in your purchasing card/paypal within 3-5 days.
Refund Policy
1. If you return because you receive damaged product, we will issue full refund including shipping cost.
2. If you return based on other reason than damaged goods, we will refund you the product price but we will not cover the shipping fee. We provide a return label, but we will deduct a shipping fee $90-$100 when refunding.
