I was happy to receive the odor shield. The one I have is not lying flat anymore, so doesn't work as well. The new one you sent was somewhat damaged. It has grease or vaseline applied along the inside curved area, so I suspect it is not new. Also where the ends attach to the thinner, curved, flexible flaps, they are torn from the more rigid shell, about 1/2 to 1 inch on each end. Another reason I suspect this has been used before. Even so, I think this will work ok. I haven't installed it yet. Thanks for asking.
